All tickets cost £20 each. This covers all booking fees and VAT. |
|
Why has the price of the ticket gone up from £15 to £20? |
The Mayor is committed to ensuring that ticket prices for New Year’s Eve remain as low as possible, and this is the first time the price of tickets has been increased since ticketing was introduced in 2014. It reflects the significant increase in costs across the events industry since 2019 due to the impact of COVID, Brexit, supply shortages and now inflation. Every penny from tickets sales is used to pay for the costs associated with the ticketing scheme. |

As London council taxpayers pay for the London New Year’s Eve Fireworks, why aren’t they guaranteed tickets? |
We don’t have room for everyone who’d like to come to the event. That’s why ticketing was introduced – to help manage the very large numbers that come and to keep the event safe. |
We’re confident our system is a fair and accessible one. There are lots of opportunities to book tickets for the event on a first come, first served basis. Tickets are available first from 3 November , and again at the beginning of December |
|
Will tickets be available on the day / night? |
No. There’ll be no tickets available at the event. If you don’t have a ticket, please do not try and come to the event. |

If people with tickets don’t turn up on the night, will others be able to get in? |
