As with most apps, certain permissions can be customised and switched on or off depending on your needs and preference.The two biggest permissions we request are your location and access to your contacts (both of which can be disabled). Location is needed in order for the app to curate a list of upcoming events specific to your area. If this is disabled be aware that instead of a more personalised list, you’ll see a random list of events from all around the world.
